🏛️ Your California Privacy Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. This page allows you to exercise that right.
Our Data Practices
MoneyVerge.net does not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. However, certain sharing of your information with advertising partners — including the sharing of data for interest-based advertising purposes — may be considered "sharing" under California law.
Specifically, we may share certain browsing data, device identifiers, and cookie information with advertising partners including Google AdSense, Google Analytics, and insurance quote widget providers for the purpose of displaying relevant advertisements and tracking conversions. This type of sharing may constitute "sharing" under CPRA even without direct monetary exchange.
How to Opt Out
California residents may opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information through the following methods:
Method 1 — Email Request
Send an email to privacy@moneyverge.net with the subject line "CCPA Opt-Out Request." Please include your full name and email address so we can process your request. We will respond within 15 business days.
Method 2 — Opt Out of Interest-Based Advertising
Method 3 — Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If you have GPC enabled in your browser, we will treat it as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of your personal information.
Your Additional CCPA/CPRA Rights
In addition to the right to opt out, California residents have the following rights:
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Limit our use of sensitive personal information to necessary purposes.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@moneyverge.net. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days as required by CCPA.
